WLMP aka Windows LightTPD MySQL PHP is a project started by a bunch of passionate people right here. Because the project is kinda outdated, and the only package which is updated is the LigtTPD for Windows, I did this custom build. Besides these, the WLMP package doesn’t have a English installer. The only available version is in Hungarian. Another drawback is the lack for FastCGI configuration into the WLMP package. The original WLMP uses PHP via GCI which is significant slower.
I took the updates fom the XAMPP project, another great tool for developers which is based on Apache. The php.ini was reconfigured according to the new situation. Because the service installation application doesn’t support the PHP-FastCGI as service, it was removed. I wrote a bunch of scripts which start/stop/restart the LightTPD, PHP-FastCGI, and MySQL servers which are running in standalone mode. The installation file automatically extracts the WLMP directory to the C:\ path. This is a requirement. The servers run with the credentials of the user account which starts the scripts. All the servers run in standalone mode under user (limited) account types.
This unofficial build will be maintained as long as the original WLMP won’t be updated and it won’t include a English installer + control panel. I also salute the fact that the official WLMP project recognizes my efforts by linking to my site into their ‘Links‘ page by calling this one a “Similar Project”. Of course, the thanks goes to the projects which are the base of this one: WLMP and XAMPP.
Since the version 0.2 I’ll only provide a CLI self extractor. Place the executable file which you can find within the zip archive into the root of your C: drive.

This package is provided as-is without any kind of support.

Many thanks for the package. Is a brilliant way to present multi-element functionality.
